Richard you are probably right but i just don't remember doing that. I helped dad with the picker mounting and taking it off. I remember one winter something happened to the picker on a farm away from home and we took the picker off in a grove of trees and tipped the main unit up side down in the snow and i bet it was in the teens or colder but Dad would'nt give up till fixed and we got it fixed. I can't remember what the problem was but it sure wasn't fun fixing it. I have a model 33 picker that has picked less than 100 acres i hope to mount someday. Why???
